The ALC Annual Conference was held in Miami, Florida on May 19-22, 2010. There were more than 180 attendees. As one of the fastest growing translation companies in the industry, Translation Back Office couldn´t miss this great opportunity to update, learn and network with the best in the translation industry.

TBO president, Charles Campbell, made a presentation in a panel on Managing Growth, between members from other translation companies in the USA and the UK. His hot topic was "Managing Growth in Human Resources in the Translation Industry".

The general mood at the conference was highly positive with translation company owners already seeing significant increases in sales as translation buyers take advantage of the incipient economic recovery.  After all, "can't read, won't buy" and with the US dollar currently down against most international currencies, US exports are at all time high meaning that many buyers are investing that extra dollar in ensuring their products are appropriately translated into the language of potential consumers, wherever they may be in the world.

Clearly translation companies are growing and managing growth in Human Resources is a hot topic.
